i could stay at gmu, major at finance; minor in sprts managements job, get a job in dc hopefully easily. more oppurtunities. Masons one of the few schools on east coast with Sprts Management program and it would be sick to get a job with the Skins or Wizards....
OR
I can goto Tech in the spring or next year and major in a better Finance Program.

It would help if you used the whole name of the schools. I assume that GMU is George Mason and that Tech is Virginia Tech. If so -- then VA Tech is only marginally better than GMU. Both have decent business programs, and neither is stellar. Now if you were able to transfer to the Mason School at William & Mary or the McIntire School at UVA, I'd say to go for it. But going from GMU to VA Tech is really just a latteral move.

Of course, if you mean GA Tech, Cal Tech or MIT -- then go for it. And if you want ot stay in the DC area, then University of Maryland would be the best B-School.
