People will do anything to make money. Including selling endangered animal eggs. And unfortunately, there are stupid people out there who are paying for these eggs, otherwise they wouldn't be selling them. Very sad.

They steal and sell them for money, and people buy them as an exotic food. Many people think turtle eggs are delicious- and are willing to pay a small fortune because they are so protected.

They're basically selling exotic pets to the rich. They don't need any other reason than the money they're making.

They make soup out of them and charge ridiculous prices for it.
