Rep. Idaho Sen. Larry Craig is "backpedaling" quite hard these days, trying hard to deny his gay tendencies...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070829/ap_on_go_co/craig_arrest

This again proves the duplicity and lies that these idiots live on a daily basis, publically taking a harsh position against homosexuality, and privately living the life that they claim to fight against.

Two faced idiots...

Is it time that Rep. Idaho Sen. Larry Craig came ut of the closet, and cleared the air with the truth?

Melanie Sloan, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, expressed surprise that Sen. Larry Craig has been forced to
relinquish his committee assignments in light of this week's revelations that he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in connection with an attempted sexual encounter with an undercover officer in a Minneapolis airport restroom.

"Senator Ted Stevens maintains his position on the Appropriations Committee despite being the subject of a major criminal investigation, including an FBI raid on his Alaska home and Senator David Vitter maintains his assignments despite admitting to the crime of soliciting a prostitute."
Sloan continued, "A disorderly conduct plea requires a member to give up his committee assignment, but a full-fledged bribery investigation does not. Apparently, in the view of the Republican conference there is almost nothing more serious than a member attempting to engage in gay sex."

"For consistency's sake, Senators Stevens and Vitter should both be forced to give up their committee assignments as well."

That party is full of pedophiles and people like Craig, who denounce Gays, but is one!

He should have just gone to an X-rated video store and used a hole in the wall instead of a public bathroom.

Republicans are such hypocrites. They constantly complain about the poor, but they are getting a lot more money from the poor than the poor are from them! Corporate welfare has been at the front of Bush's agenda in Iraq! They also want to make them have children, but want to wash their hands, like Pontious Pilot, once they are born! They double speak , talk out of both sides of their mouths, and they have obscene positions!

Whenever I talk about Republicans I am not refering to all as I know all of them are not like that. Just TOO MANY of them!

Of course he's gay- the sad thing is the message he's sending people. Like being "gay" is so horrible, he'd rather solicit prostitutes in a bathroom??? HELLO people!

Maybe it's time that people start to realize what gay bashing is doing to EVERYONE!

Society has been shaped by christianity, spewing that "god" doesn't want us to be who we really are. They have caused nothing but grief for millions of people for thousands of years.

Wake up people! Watch "the history of sex" on the discovery channel and you'll see how society viewed sex....

BEFORE christianity came along and decided "you can't be gay, but go ahead and rape small children if you need to control your urges- it's what god would want".

I think the thing that bothered me most was where I read that after he was arrested, he pulled out a business card with his name that identified him as a Senator. He said to the officer, "What do you think of that?", as if it would influence the arresting officer! It makes me sick that some of these people think they are above the laws they pass for everyone else! I say... more power to that brave officer!!! (I wish there were more like him!)

He is a married man whose wife probably couldn't gratify his sick sexual urge, was in an airport toilet when his sexual urge got too problematic for him to handle. And maybe the sicko was desperate for anyone and anything to satisfy his warped sexual needs at that time. He's a sicko and he should be put away from the public!

When you're as repressed as neo-cons the freaky got to pop out somewhere. Reps can't hold the tight-azz line. They try to tell everyone else what to do, but can't do it themselves.

His motto is "Do as I say but not as I do"
I hate hypocrites like him. He is going to get what he deserves. I feel sorry for his wife and children.
