The Prime meridian, or greenwich line, passes through The UK, France Togo, Burkina Faso, and Algeria. As well as several other countries I can't remember right now.

UK
France
Spain
the across the Mediterranean to
Algeria
Mali
Burkina Faso
Togo (just nips the NW corner)
Ghana
then just a large expanse of the Atlantic until
Antarctica (not a nation)

France, Spain, Portugal, England, and western african nations all lay within GMT (greenwhich mean time) which is along the prime meridian.
