New Orleans is not being rebuilt and Americans are still suffering because President Bush cares more about throwing billions of dollars into "helping" Iraq. (Who shows how much they appreciate our help by killing a few of us every so often).

Your viewpoint is at least unique, though. That's the first time I have heard Bush's name and the word "smart" in the same sentence. LOL

Barry gave us quite a history lesson that's common knowledge but, the real reasons that New Orleans hasn't been rebuilt, is also common knowledge. The people of New Orleans don't care.

Over 60% never came back, they all took their money, Insurance, FEMA, whatever and run, to all parts of the U.S.

Many homes were never touched by waters or wind but, are still left empty. Many came back, picked up their personal things and simply left.

129 million dollars is missing in funds for rebuilding, millions in FEMA funds went astray, peopel dissapeared.

We sent two church groups to New Orleans, to help at an expense to us, the third was turned down by us, why?

Both groups that went there, were never met as promised, they had no where to stay, no one met them, there was no plans like it was to happen. They had no food or provisions, both groups.

The people of New Orleans don't care, whay should anyone else.

Doing Nothing seems to be the ONLY thing Bush is good at. So I guess you can give him "credit" for all he HASN'T done- for the People in New Orleans. -Although I'm not exactly SURE where his "intelligence" plays a "role" in the situation. .. :)
