To be 100% honest, things are very tough in my life right now, but I am making it through. I wish things were better, but they just aren't. This too shall pass.

There is some really tough stuff happening in my life right now. It would literally break some people down. I could allow that to happen, but I have a son who looks to me for protection and security. I choose to remain strong and positive for his sake. I grew up with a mother who was always a "glass half empty" kind of person. I made a metal note at a young age that I would NOT end up that way. It is THE surest way to ruin your life and be miserable.
So no I am not necessarily "happy" with the way things are going, but I know that life is 90% attitude and only 10% what happens to us. I could choose to fall apart, but that would only ensure my life would continue to go in a negative direction and affect my son as well. I choose the "glass is half full" attitude because as long as I am able to do that ... whatever isn't going my way right now ... will eventually get better and I will be all the more appreciative of that when it happens.

Yes, I am very happy with the way things are going in my life. I actually couldn't be happier. And I had a good night and hope you did as well.

YUP!!!
I am happy happy happy....Just got out of the Army last Sunday....with 10 years in...And I I have a job interview already....It will be nice not to have to go to work in combat boots...hey maybe I will get some scrubs with teddy bears or flowers on them...and not cammo print...:+)
Things are getting exciting...and yes I am happy with how my life is going... Looking forward to being home every night with my children!!!!!

Yes, I'm happy. It would be nice if I can have a few hundred dollars in my pocket, but I couldn't be happier.
