I had a little super glue tube placed in my jewelry drawer and it had a hole in it! So now two of my earrings (they're big and thick) have super glue on them...

Is there anyway I can get it off with something like nail polish remover or anything?
I'd really appreciate it!! I want to wear my earrings...

Acetone is often found in household nail polish remover, and a small amount on the end of a Q-tip or cotton swab applied directly to the glue should dissolve the bond

not sure if your earings with be damaged though. Use your nail polish remover sparingly and cautiously.

good luck

I use acetone to get rid of super glue. If those ear rings are cheap ones or plastic, then the acetone will eat them up also. They are no good to you if they are stuck together, so you have nothing to lose either way.

good luck.

You could possibly try napatha its basically lighter fluid. It may attack some plastics but would also dissolve the glue.
