I just asked a question that was no big deal, the response just about knocked me over, It was racist, and so totally unexpected. What do you do?

Unfortunately not very often. I would love for someone to answer any question I have had completely honestly and truthfully with well supported evidence, but this just isn't the case most of the time. Most of the time people tell me what they think I want to hear. This is secretly what I strive to NOT get when I ask a question.

From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. You just got an answer from a racist. All I can say is learn from it. Every once in a while we recieve a little reminder of who we never want to become in life. Racism paints a pretty ugly picture on a persons life legacy.

No! I find that most answers that I get are generally from bored computer users that offer very little insight.
I get tons of inane responses to general questions and very few responses to serious questions.
