I'm looking for a specific Peanuts Sunday strip, but I have no idea of the date it originally ran. How can I find it?

No, it's not the one where peppermint patty comes out of the closet. =]

it's the one where Patty and Marcie are using Snoopy's doghouse in the air races and they stop and Snoopy has to fix the "Sopwith Camel" and then he has to give Marcie a kiss to cheer her up, and the punchline is that a good mechanic has to understand planes and women.

Public libraries often have published collections of Schulz' work. You could check several of these compilations out and flip through them.

You might check peanuts.com, where many of his strips are archived. They re-run popular strips, so you might get lucky.

If you would supply a description of the strip you are looking for, and some idea what the "joke" or punchline of the strip was, I might be able to run down the exact strip.

There are a few books with just sunday strips in them. If there not at your library, try a large bookstore like barnes and noble. Which strip is it your looking for?
