My mom. She was really cool about it, too. I think I was 12 when the MONTHLY had started. She told me why I started, drew a diagram (she was an artist) to show me what was going on inside my body, then drew the male sexual organ (I'm serious!). In a way, I thought she was doing too much, but looking back, she was just really cool about teaching me about what it was and why people do it. (Not just to make babies, but to satisfy a certain need. Yes, she told me this, lol).

Lion Country Safari - 1976 - I was 7 - 2 monkeys jumped up on the car hood & started screwing - mom freaked - dad laughed - later that night I learned about sex.

My grandmother gave me the "big talk" when I was in seventh grade. I also have Dr. David Rueben's famous book, "Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask."

through friends at school. my parents were way too nervous and babbling. i was mortified talking to them about it.
i found one of my dad's naughty magazines and that shed some light lol
i was one of the last virgins in my school. did not have sex til right before i was married at 18! literally, the LAST virgin in school. it actually was embarrassing. i felt like an outcast. but it was in the early 90's and still not a whole lot was talked about it in our school (by teachers) ABSTINENCE was the ONLY thing they said then moved on. i disagree with that technique.

We learned it in class.
I was so sick that day.I gave away all my snacks.
It was like the last week of 5th grade.
But I do remember hearing the word in like songs and plus some boys were talking about it in first grade.Scary.

Honestly, I don't remember. I think I just picked up on it from school and diferent kids knowing different things. I can remember in 1st grade kids whispering S-E-X and I didn't know completely what it was and every year I picked up on more. My parents NEVER had the talk with me though.

Someone in my family told me how babies were "made", I was 8...
I think I really didnt get it that time until I actually saw some tiny "details" on TV later on... maybe a year later, I cant recall the exact time now....

in second grade, i asked and my mom told me. it wasn't until a years later that i got over the disgusted incredulous phase and fully appreciated what came of it. by that time i had informed all of the people i knew fully and bluntly. their parents were all but over-joyed, and my mom offered up serious defense on my part. it was quite a sight: soccer moms fighting over sex in front of their wide-eyed children.
