Is Comcast High Speed Internet really faster?

I switched from DSL to Comcast because I thought it would be faster. From what I have experienced, it seems slower. Does anyone else think it is slower?

As always, it depends. My Comcast is faster than I believe DSL would be. Both methods do better when your house is closer to the hub. I suspect cable is more influenced by weather. (Squirrels chew on it, then moisture gets inside the cable). There are ways to measure the speed of your connection.

I think it would be slower with cable your sharing an internet connection with your nhabers but with dsl its onlu in your house
