Do you think that bisexual folks are being too greedy for their own good by wanting their cake and eat it too?

Also, do you believe that bisexuality promotes sexual promiscuity?

Serious answers only please.

In my humble opinion, bisexuality is only a pit stop on the way to Gay Town.

It's as if bisexual people are still undecided; are they gay or straight? Do they prefer males or females, etc.?

I don't have anything against homosexuals per say but I do believe that bisexuals should pick a side and stick to it.

That's all I have to say on the subject.

P.S. Here is an informative & interesting link to shed some light on this somewhat controversial matter...

i don't understand it. How can you like both? At least you can decide on one or the other...or do they not care? Are they just in it for the fun and they don't care who its with?

it's a short step from bisexuality to Poligomy.

and yes i definately believe bisexuality promotes promiscuity. I don't know about you but I've never met a bisexual person who i thought was decent and not trashy. I have no offense to any bisexuals, there are people who could definately prove me wrong, but I'm stating the facts.

if you're brave [not the right word] enough to be bisexual, then stereotypes say that you've definately had sex and you're looking for more.

i hope this made sense adn didn't offend anyone.

and i might want to add.. i don't wanna sleep with a guy who's already slept with another guy....gross

Bisexuality has been in practice for longer than strict heterosexuality. As far as being too greedy......that's a really stupid statement to make. That implies that hetero folks are already attracted to the same sex. I honestly don't care. As long as who you do (ha ha!) doesn't hurt anyone else, and its two consenting legal adults, then it's nobody's damn business. As far as promoting promiscuity....a sex drive promotes promiscuity, and safe promiscuity between consenting people is also not a bad thing nor anyone's damn business either.

I am bisexual, and I can tell you from my own personal experience that am I neither greedy nor promiscuous. Being bisexual is not a license to sleep with anyone that happens to wander by... promiscuity is more of an idividual trait not limited to one sexuality or the other.

I don't feel that way. My best friend is bisexual & used to be promiscuous but not anymore. You can also be promiscuous & homo/heterosexual, too. I don't consider bisexuals greedy. Some people view bisexuals as confused, but I don't.

I don't have a problem with bisexuality as long as safe sex is practiced. Yes, I think it does promote promiscuity, but as long as everyone is in the loop, it's not really a problem.

There's nothing wrong with it. Being bisexual doesn't promote promiscuity and being greedy.

I don't see any harm in it if you're not in a serious relationship i.e. you don't hurt anyone else.

Sexual fulfillment is afterall a human urge, desire and need so I guess it doesn't really matter which way you swing your bat! May be an ideal lifestyle for the singles or for partners who both are Bi? Who knows....

Besides, life is too short, follow your heart, be true to yourself and love life to the max!

Nah, let people do what they want to do, as long as it doesn't hurt someone else. As far as promoting sexual promiscuity, I think thats something that all people straight, gay or bi have problems with.

I personally do not promote bisexuality, but some people do. I believe that a man should be with a women, and a women with a man. No in between.
