youll have a gloucose test done between 24-28 weeks and most likly a fetal growth scan at 28 weeks after that you might have to do stress tests at the hospital until delivery

There are no tests needed unless you have a problem, blood and urine are needed to make sure your glucose levels are normal. Why would you want any tests done anyways? There may be later tests done on you but like I said earlier none will be done unless you have a problem worth testing. If your pregnancy is going great/healthy, then your doctor will basically see you when you deliver! There is an ultrasound but thats only for you to see your baby! An injection no! The only test I took was to drink a glass of really sugary drink, again to check for glucose levels and other routine things.

You will have to do a blood glucose screen to check for gestational diabetes. You go to a lab where they have you drink this syrupy drink, then you wait an hour and they draw your blood to check the sugar levels in it to see if you are diabetic. If the levels are high you will have to go for another one which is 3 hours long. If those levels are high you will have to be on a special diet.

Also there are a number of tests around this time I think. You can deny them if you want. They are to check for different birth defects. I denied all of them due to the rate of false positives and I didnt want to have any extra stress during my pregnancy.

Sometimes you may get another ultrasound around this time as well depending on when your last one was or if you are high risk. Another test you might have is a non stress test to see how the baby is doing mostly during contractions if you have been having any braxton hicks or are high risk.

I cant seem to remember any other tests but I had very easy pregnancies. Good luck!

You dont get any injections while pregnant, except maybe an IV during labor if you want it. You will have blood drawn for a glucose test right about now.

You'll have your quad tests and ultrasound screening this week, if you havent already... you're sort of late for it.

You are probably thinking of the Rhogam shot. I just had mine at my last appointment. You get that when you are 7 months (28 weeks) along only if you have a negative blood type. I am O- so I had to have a shot and then if the baby has a positive blood type I have another one after I have her.. and it is NOT fun! :(

No injection at all that I know of. The doc should be measuring your tummy each time you go, check urine, blood, and later on at about 35 wks they will check your cervix to see if you have dilated.

Do you know your blood type and the blood type of the father? If both of you are RH Negative, which means you both have O- blood, you might require one injection during your pregnancy.

at some point you will take the glucose test to test for gestational diabetes. It's this disgusting orange liquid stuff that you have to drink.
