It depends! I found out I was having twins ,when I was three months pregnant. And as far as gender, all the pamphlets say that you can see gender difference at 13 weeks. Now, I've never know anyone to find out that early. Plus alot of people are told one sex at 5 months and older, and end up having the opposite. So, its probably a good idea to wait at least another month or two before you try to find out the gender. (Just to be safe) CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

No, the doctor will not be able to determine the sex of the baby at this time. An ultrasound would probably show the sex of the baby between 16-20 weeks. Generally twins can be seen immediately by ultrasound.
To everyone else, lighten up about how people type their questions. People are asking for help and you can obviously understand what is being asked. Answer the questions if you want to and if you don't then keep your rude comments to yourself.

No. at 8 weeks the baby is the size of a grain of rice, and genitals arent even formed yet. They wont be until 13 weeks, but they wont be detectable until 14-15, and most doctors wont look until 16-20 weeks.

He can tell if its twins by looking for two embryos.

first off... I am REALLY hoping english isnt your first language....anyhow 2 months is WAY too early to know any of the things you are asking, my aunt didnt know she was having twins until she was about 4 months preg. apparently some times they can hide behind each other pretty well and especially if the dr doesnt check for twins specifically they wont find very early.

no they wont know the sex now - not until an ultrasound around 18-20 weeks. they will know if its twins if you have an ultrasound now to see if everythings ok however, not all drs do this so you may not know until you start measuring big for how far along you are. then they will do an ultrasound to determine if you're farther along in your pregnancy than you think or if its multiples. they will only do this if you measure large

At 6 months is when they can be pretty accurate. But they will never know for sure until it is born! Now at 2 months they might be able to see if it is twins.

Everybody! Get over the spelling answers she is trying to ask a question... Let her! You all get the jest of it! Oh and jest is a word so don't start with me. You ask your questions OK honey.

NO MOST OF THE TIME IT IS AROUND 5 MONTHS, DURING THE SECOND TRIMESTER, DEPENDING ON YOUR DOCTOR THEY MIGHT DO A ULTRASOUND TO SEE IF IT WILL BE A SINGLE BABY OR MULTIPLE BABIES SOONER THAN THAT, IF THAT DOESN'T ANSWER YOUR QUESTION JUST CALL YOUR DOCTOR'S OFFICE AND ASK.

two months is WAY too early to know the sex, the genitalia isn't even formed yet or visible for that matter. at two months he can tell how many babies you're having though, yes....

It's too early to determine the sex of the baby.
Try a spell checker too. It's "doctor" and "twins"
