For sure I know I had the best view. I was flying from Hokkaido to Kansai Airport and everyone was oohing and ahhing at the full red moon over the fairy lights of Osaka.
I had read about the luna eclipse a few days ago, and I thought I would miss it, taking a flight that day and all, but in the contrary, I got a solar view and an amazing experience!!
But I was stupid and packed my camera in my suitcase!! stupid me!!

Oh, gosh, it was beautiful, wasn't it? I saw it up in Hokkaido. When the moon rose over the barn, the eclipse was pretty much in progress, and it looked all smoky and red and mysterious. But then watching the silver come out -- just amazing!

We had a little barbecue, and made some "moon cookies" to go with it. Even got out the binoculars to take a peek.

Over the bay must have been just lovely!

The moon...
It's been a while since I watched the moon and the sky...
I'm always so busy with studies, work and other responcibilities, that I forgot about the moon.
Thank you for reminding me!
Lets do tsukimi, then! The harvest moon is so beautiful in Japan. Maybe it is more beautiful than any other place in the world...

(*^o^*) On the contrary shazam!
I'm in Tokyo and I tried to rush home to catch it...
Just as I got to my station at about 7:20 pm it starts to POUR down rain, I mean POUR! and thunder, lighting...
Needless to say, I was disappointed.
There were NO taxis. I walked home and was sopping wet.
(^_-)-☆ Ohhhh, I envy you all that got to enjoy the lunar eclipse. We in the Kanto area weren't so fortunate.
~Hmmmmm, you should have invited us all out there for a lunar eclipse viewing party shazam! (*^o^*) Nice Q.!
