Don't you know a second chance is beyond chance? The event is more calculated than the first time around so one did purposefully buy and save the receipt as to safeguard the event and control it--the power over the event that one missed out on the first time.

I save the receipt for it's a remembrance of the second chance that was given to me.

Second chance is given free, more as a favour, maybe out of compassion. If you succeed, good otherwise its over and don't beg for more. Pick up your dignity and move on. One should be able to know when to pull the curtains and turn his back. Receipt, if given, is only a worthless piece of paper in that case.

I strongly suspect that if I had to buy a second chance, I wouldn't want it. If you GIVE me a second chance, I will TRUST you to make good on it, & I won't need a receipt.

Whoa! No way! What would I need it for? I'm planning on using that thing! Second chance is major valuable and I'd never in a million years even think about exchanging, or turning it back in! I can't believe I even possess one!?

theres no point, im pretty sure you only have one second chance, but you never know, right? when your second chance is given to you by a lenient person, im pretty sure they wont even check for a receipt

No. It would be useless for the seller, no one wants it back, no point to save the receipt : )

It was a gift from another human being...So I got a gift receipt which I keep in my head as a constant reminder.

No, I tossed it. Second chances are none refundable and can't be exchanged. You buy them as is, no guarantees, no extended warranty. You either do well with them or you don't.
