I couldn't believe it when I heard this news story!
I'm not sure of all the reasons, but it sounds to me like he was very threatened that his wife's ministry was larger than his. Whatever the reason, he had no business attacking her like that. What a way for a so-called Christian man to act! Supposedly no charges were filed. Well, I hope she doesn't take him back. You can only carry forgiveness so far.

i wanted to know the same thing but i got on another site and posted the same question you did. people were saying on that site that she preached about how weak woman were, how we always had to have a man in our lives to be happy and yet here she gos and get married and not to mention beaten! yes it is sad and i think that her husband was beating her all along and it just wasent told.

That is crazy and just shows it can happen to anyone. As I read through the story (someone posted a link to) it just seems weird that she would not press charges, anyone in there right mind would not allow a man/women walk away after doing something like this to them.
