Mostly sad that a mother of two young children was be killed in the prime of life, in such a senseless accident. I know she had her faults, but she was a very charismatic and enchanting person.

I was living in Michigan and was at a party. I was getting ready to go home and the hostess of the party and I were sitting out in the yard talking. Her husband came out and told us she had been in an accident. Ten minutes later he came out and told us she was dead. Like you I cried for days....

I was in my room watching the TV at first. The moment I came downstairs for a snack, that's when my mother told me the news of Princess Di's passing. I couldn't believe it until I ran back upstairs and turned the channel to CNN. I was completely shocked of what I heard and saw. We've lost a great heroine. I was 18 at the time.

I had just gotten home from dinner with my family, was wacthing TV in my room and CNN said she had been in a bad car wreck and was in critical condition, so I told my folks what happened and to turn on the TV, when I got back to my room just a minute later they were reporting that she had died. We were all really shocked and saddened, felt very bad for her sons. Obviously didn't know her personally but she always came across as a very sweet and caring lady.
