Duke University is the grand-daddy. One way to tell is to look at their curriculum, see where they do their clinical rotations and most important--what is their first time pass rate for the certifying exam. Also, pick one associated with a top notch medical school--that's who will be teaching you. How long has the program been open? What are some of the grads doing now? All schools are required to annually poll their graduates, so they should know these things. Unfortunately, tuition may also figure into the equation--but I would be leary of a cheapie program.
