The police report shows that he was giving many signals to the undercover officer in the stall next to him that he was wishing to engage in 'lewd conduct', including touching the officer's foot with his, and standing in front of the officer's stall and peering in (enough so the officer could plainly see his blue eyes). The officer was in there because there had been many complaints by passengers at the airport and arrests there before.

I think his intentions were to engage in lewd conduct. But, I disagree with having undercover officers doing that kind of stuff - there could be misunderstandings or they could have bias against gay guys... certainly there's better things in an airport to occupy a cop. Really though, it's a pretty ballsy thing for a senator to do, I don't know what he was thinking.

It is yet another devastating blow to the Republican party. The hypocrisy is obvious. And the ironic thing is that we have tried to impeach a president for lying about his sexual endeavors. Isn't Sen. Craig doing the same if he's lying about his? Just kind of shows how f*cked up our political system is right now. It also brings up the very obvious point that a large number of Americans are in complete denial about themselves and what happens around them.
