They aren't the worst franchise and they have begun to rebuild. They still have key players, but aren't playing as a team. The team Im referring to are the Redskins.

The one that should be rebuilding.. the Cardinals. Only because we were able to spank them by winning in the last five minutes of the game. We being the Bears. They have been on a slow decline in the past couple of years. Expectations are always high at the beginning of the season and they are more successful and crushing hopes for the playoffs than winning games. The potential is there, they just dont have the drive.

Third, again, the Browns. They have a looooong road ahead of them. They could be a sleeper team, but not more than the skins who have made some really good additions to their team.. i.e. landry

Fourth, the Texans. The team is still trying to get a grip on playing together and learning who works well in what position. Although I was impressed by their preseason performance, let's face it, it was preseason. If they can play that well during the season, they could be 8-8. Playoffs, not likely.

I have to go with the Giants. You cant build a team around Eli Manning. Hes proved that. Also, Mike Strahan is done, that whole defense is just plain old, and they have Rebeun Drouhgns and Brandon Jacobs at running back. Amani Toomer and Plaxico Burress are on the downsides of their careers. If I were the Giants, I would draft Steve Slaton or James Laurinaitis this year, because those are two guys to build a team around. Slaton is the next Steven Jackson and Laurinaitis is the next Brian Urlacher. Take your pick. They should hold onto Jeremy Shockey, and just rebuild that whole team. Start the Hefty Lefty at QB, and make Eli a backup like he deserves. They took Aaron Ross in the first round and Steve Smith in the second, and those guys should pan out decently.

Well that remains to be seen.

A lot of teams are already rebuilding. The Texans might turn out all right, the Raiders might turn out OK and the Browns may even show some life this year. The Cardinals as well..of course the Cardinals are supposed to be good every year and are not.

If I had to pick any one team to label as the worst, it would be the Browns. But Brady Quinn is their 'savior'. We will see.

Everyone just got help, so it is too early to say how much help that help will be.

However, I predict the Browns will end up with the worst record and will have a new coach next year...so they will be starting over next year. Their needs are many.

I am obviously partial because I am a fan, but I believe the Dolphins. I would like to see them restructure their Defense. Zach Thomas will be leaving soon so they need to find a defensive leader to take his place. I would also like to see some flexibility in their CB. Of course everyone is concerned with the offense epically in the QB. I think Green is a safe bet for the next few years, However a running game/play action game is imperative. The wide outs need to be looked at and either re-positioned or re-placed. Above all though the game is called football for a reason and the most points are gained by splitting the uprights. I believe they need to spend money on a first rate kicker.
Again I am partial to the Dolphins and I have not seen them truly win in a while and would like to see them make some changes and set themselves up for success.

they're not completely bottomed out yet.. but the Chiefs.. they have LJ but I don't think he could carry a team the way Barry Sanders did in Detroit.. he needs help and the O-Line is aging... the defense should have retired 2 years ago.. the QB thing is just comical.. if they don't do something in free agency this upcoming year and the draft they'll be getting #1 picks for a while..

Oooh...well, ummm...the...the...Dolphish....Carp...phans. No, seriously, it doesn't matter what team you are, they're roster is more or less a frankenstein monster. Their defense, while still good, is mostly very old, while the majority of their offense is young. But their offensive line is a patchwork of young and old. It's terribly mismatched. and they need a serious overhaul, because, assuming Cam works out, right now, their offense would come into to its own only to have the defense collapse from old age, and that cycle would continue indefinately.

the dolphins potentailly could if green sucks but i think they'll be ok. the falcons will if joey sucks-but i have faith and hes looked good so far. the seahawks will if alexander and hasselbeck get hurt again-they'll need to atleast train for 3 years down the road maybe not immediant rebuilding. there isnt many teams that are that terrible. the vikings and giants are otehrs but they have talent at some spots (giants moreso) but sucka t QB.

The Cowboys are just pathetic!!! No coach, a QB that can't think or throw (or take a snap) a offensive line that couldn't block sunlight, a "D" that is like a bunch of statues & even the cheerleaders are aging!!!

the dolphins will have to rebuild soon, their defense is their lone bright spot and it's aging. Sooner or later they will draft a young qb and be right back at the top.
