Give to Others - Plan a party to benefit the needy. Your job will be to get everything organized. You and your guests might make things, such as blankets, toys, or socks. Or collect things as admission to your party, like canned food items or toys to give to the needy or a food bank. Or do a craft project and share it with residents of a retirement home. Put together food baskets and distribute to a shelter for the homeless.
-Christmas Tree Decorating Party- This theme for a holiday party has worked great for years. Ask each person to bring two ornaments to share. You, as host or hostess, should have an ornament to share with each guest. Write the date on the back as a reminder of the occasion. Everyone puts one of their offerings on the tree and exchanges the other with another guest. Everyone goes home with two new ornaments, one from you and one exchanged. It's a great way to get the tree trimmed and add to your ornament collection.

Mystery Game: The portly gent who dresses in red won't be going down any chimneys this year. He is dead – possibly murdered – yes, it's scandalous but true. It happened just before the company Christmas party being held at for example Chatties Restaurant. Did someone not want him to be there? Was it revenge for an unwanted present from Santa last year? Or was it just old age catching up with him? We're here to find out the real juicy truth. The media are also here. But this time they aren't just reporting what happened. They are suspects too. You would write a list of suspects and witnesses to interview and place clues throughout the office or wheverever you have the party and have the guests solve the crime the way Sherlock Holmes would have solved the crime.

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

Some of the games especially Sandys Christmas Carol game can be adjusted for nearly any age 8 and up.

For parties mixers like this work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversatrion lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groans of the answer section.

If links work in the answer blocks here's the link

My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.

I hope they work out well for you

i would not do what the person above mentioned. why? because that is the anti-christmas symbol and many including i would take it as rude. just have the normal a congo line, catering, white elephant gift exchange and maybe awards for funniest clerk or whatever! good luck! it would be cool if you could get a santa to come too!

We usually do a potluck and white elephant gift exchange at my job's holiday party. White elephant is when you bring something you don't use (or something comical) from home and wrap it up & then do an exchange. We usually have a ball with some of the things people bring in like a felt elvis framed print; a naked barbie doll; a skateboard........

Hang your Christmas tree upside down from the ceiling. If you have ever seen someone do it is the coolest thing.
