What was your worst injury?

edit:
in one injury: i tore both my acl and mcl, broke my patella, dislocated my knee cap(s) (and found them lodged by my tibia!)

in another: i broke my jaw when a girl slid "cleats-first" into my face. i needed 20 stitches to fix a hole in my cheek no joke.



(both happened during national cups of competitive soccer)


oh and its not really an injury but i was officially pronounced dead twice. once when i was nine because of an allergic reaction. my heart stopped in the ambulance. twice when i was a little kid. i needed surgery to fix the problem.


oh but my face looks totally normal

It's a toss-up among the following:

1. Concussion from standing up under a pipe. It took two weeks before both eyes would register on the same spot

2. Ear damage from working in a boiler house before hearing protection was required. That still bothers me.

3. Having both knees damaged by a driver who was not watching where he was going. Bone and ligament fragments had to be removed from both knees and I now have trouble negotiating stairs.

4. Being too close to an explosion and having to remove bits of shrapnel from my own hand before I could seek professional help.

I cracked my skull flipping over my bicycle handle bars during a bike race. Two days later I had a seizure due to the injury while scuba diving. Scary stuff...

well, it's not that bad, compared to cracking your skull....

i was in eighth grade, and i was running around on the basketball court. some kid pushed me. it was wet outside, so i slid a few feet on my stomach. my shirt managed to ride up, and a huge chunk of flesh, maybe two inches long and one inch wide scraped off my hip. i didnt notice until i got inside, and my friend was like, "dude, the bottom of your shirt is soaked in blood!"

and it was.


it went all the way down to the fat tissue; it didnt bleed in the very middle, and it was all white in the very center; because it went past the blood vessels and stuff. eventually it turned purple... it was really cool.

um, i got into an accident when i was five, and cracked my skull and blood and brain fluid was leaking unto the sidewalk. stayed hospitalized for about three months. can't remember any of my life before that, though

Fractured my skull from one ear, across the top of my head to the other ear. Almost died--had 5 surgeries.

I broke my leg when I was in year 5 I was playing chasey then I ran into this fat chick around the corner of the building and I broke the bottom half of my leg. My teachers were trying to make me walk on it but I was in too much pain. So I went to the hospital.

I fell on my face and chipped my two front teeth. And then later on that day, after rollerblading when i was 9, I broke my arm. It was the worst feeling in the whole world. Also, the worst day of my life.

A car accident when I was 7. A drunk driver slammed into our van while we were traveling on vacation, and caused it to roll down a hill. I have a 2 inch scar on my leg from it.
