Yes, some (but not all) turtle species have temperature dependent sex determination. A number of lizards also show this trait including the leopard gecko. All crocodilians as well.

The temp that a reptile egg incubates at does have an effect on the gender of the hatchling. This has been documented in many reptile species, such as snakes, lizards, gators, crocs, and yes even turtles.

temperature does influence the sex. if you would like more male turtles incubate at 77-75degrees and females incubate at 82-85degrees. . i am positive that temp influences the sex here is the source. if you incubate at too high a temperature the turtles will have deformities like extra scutes.
