True story, when I was in the Military, I was running missions out of Bulgaria into Afgan in 2004, during the election. One of the Local host nation airport workers engaged in a conversation with me on the flight line. He asked me about the ongoing election, I gave him my reasons polity on why I was voting for Bush and not Kerry, and asked him who he would vote for? He said, "I no like it Bush, he to much of a Cowboy", "I LIKE IT KERRY, HE WEAK, he do what he told'. Even other countries realize the Dem's are weak on terror and let the U.N. and other countries dictate policy to the U.S.

Senator Kerry , would not be in the same situation as President Bush. He is completely different. Hate is such a bad word. No hates.

The canard of party lines has little to do with the vast seas of incompetence Bush brought to Washington with him.
Many Republicans are sick of what hes done to the nation and the party.
If Kerry acted as thoughtlessly and brought in a raft of incompetents as Bush did, I'd be on his case too.
We used to have a government that worked, and when it didn't work it worked on fixing it up.
This bunch is useless at anything besides furthering their own agendas, funny thing is that even other Republicans didn't get those agendas until recently. And then they began running away from Bush, Gonzales, et al.

I don't think we would have this mess if John Kerry was President. If he did the kind of things GW has done I would hate him too.
GW is the only Republican President I have ever had this level of disdain for. I may not have agreed with other Republican Presidents but I didn't think they were criminals. GW is a criminal and should by all rights be charged with "high crimes and misdemeanors". It is not by the shear fact that he is a Republican.

I don't care if his name is George Washington. If I see violations of the Constituion in the name of national secruity I am not going to support. Thus not only do I hate the Republicans, I am also not too thrilled with the Democrats since they voted to keep the unwarranted wiretaps.
Don't get me wrong I support wiretaps as long as it has a warrant thus following that little thing called the fourth amendment.

It's not a party lines thing.
George Bush made history by 1)how he stole the election the first time 2)invaded another country without the support of the world community 3)raised the national debt higher than any other president in history.
This isn't a republican/democrat issue. It's an abuse of power issue.

It's not just a matter of being in the same situation.
It's more a matter of what actions he takes in that situation.
If Kerry willfully ignored federal laws and committed the same criminal and constitutional violations as Bush, I would expect all the same people (who value the rule of law) to oppose him, regardless of his party.
