Laptop Assistance Help Please.?

Question

Okay I had purchased a laptop awhile back ago and I have had this kind of problem with the monitor every once in awhile and I was wondering if anyone had any answers that could help me out to make it stop.

Okay my question is mostly, I have this problem with the monitor screen. It seems to happen when I am mostly on the internet. Also I use wireless connection that I am using through a flash drive which came from our desktop computer in the basement.

And here is my problem, every once in awhile when im on the internet or just on the computer d when im in the middle of something the entire screen will like go into a screensaver type of mode just mostly the whole screen goes black but you can still see the light that is being projected and the power light is still blue so its on.

I try hitting the start button still nothing will happen I just have to eventually crash the entire computer.

And my battery settings are set to balanced and are all set to never.

I also exchanged the laptop at bestbuy again for the same type of laptop because the last one did it as well.

I also called the manufacturer but they just had me do a system recovery.

And this is NOT SLEEP MODE, I move the move around and everything and hit the power button multiple times just nothing will happen at all and I must crash the computer.

In my opinion from what I am hearing is that it could be something called the ATI Graphics driver?

Or someone is kicking me off the internet or something but im not sure?

So if anyone could help I would be very appreciated.

My laptop also has Windows Vista home edition as well.

My house is pretty hot at times as well, and I think maybe in a few weeks I will have a tech have a look at it. Instead of keep on sending it to the geek squad lol :P

actually it sounds like it may be overheating .. how hot is ur house ... and #2 .. if the laptop has some kind of dedicated power control software try uninstalling it if possible .. just use windows power options and see if it makes a difference ...

Your graphics driver is crashing when the screen saver kicks in.
Your laptop is set to go on standby when running on batterys. (standby is not good for computers, seeing as certain devices cant bring themselves outta standby)
Your laptop is set to go into hibernation when running on batterys.
Your laptop is kicking into screen saver mode and the screensaver itself is crashing.

Did you try calling the laptop manufacturer's support line? It sounds like they need to sort this one out.

if your laptop still have it's warranty, then go to service center, and tell them to fix your problem
