It's not confined to blacks and mexicans.
In Britain it's primarily white males and recently the government had to pass a law preventing organised fox hunts in which dozens of dogs would be unleashed on one fox which they would compete to tear to bits while it was still alive.
This so called sport was very popular with the upper classes even royalty.

Well "brainstorm" let's continue with "horse tripping" by the Mexicans, most horses end up crippled and have to be put away, how about Bull fighting, the "running of the Bulls" in Spain, dog fighting is a world sport in some countries, chicken or cock fights, animals tortured for the religious effects of it, in the Caribbean. The entire would could clean up it's act.
With all of this, we can add the clubbing of the baby Harpies seal, the killing of whales, now the killing of sharks. It goes on and on. When we humans decided what's or who's to die, we just do it.
