I recently had my toaster malfunction and not pop the toast from the toaster over. I did not realize it until my smoke detectors went off and my kitchen was full of smoke. Now my cabinets smell of this awful burning smell and I have tried a few products, but nothing will get the smell out. Please help...

I had something similar happen to me. Keep your windows open and clean your kitchen well to remove any residual smoke on the surfaces. Try Murphy's Oil Soap for the cabinets. You can even use it on the floor. I'd even wipe down the walls. Good luck. It will clear out eventually.

Open the cabinet and lightly spray it with Fabreze. You can purchase it at your local grocery store. Spray it lightly first and close it for about an hour then open it and smell the cabinet.

If the odor is still there give it another spray and leave it open. This should take care of the odor.
