im still waiting for mine and its 1.30am boo hoo wanna go bed but wanna pay my bills first

The bank I work at tells their customers that it will clear by the next day, but this could mean any time between 12a-9am the next day. I noticed my money usually clears very early in the morning.

it actually has until 5.30pm to clear on the day it is due into your account, so its gonna be a long long night.

I know computers are fast, but they still can only process a finite amount of transactions a second. someone has to be 1st and someone last on the list.

The money officially posts "overnight". Even the fastest computer can't instantaneously update EVERYONE'S records. It takes a while to process everything.

Banks usually clear during business hours. That way, they get to use your money for a longer time.
