Being the worst at something would mean that the opportunities for growth could be found in every single person that you see. Accepting that you are the worst and having the humility to learn and be corrected may be the hardest part for some. The rest is having the patients with yourself along with an opened mind, free of bias opinions in order to accept the challenges and have the ability to change and learn.
Being a beginner makes you the worst at what you are doing and it is always part of the first steps in doing anything for the first time. Also if you are the worst at something that means that you are broadening your horizons and are developing a new skill so this would make the worst actually the best.

Somebody has to be the worst in a group activity.
If you know you are the worst, that means you have extra incentive to work better at it and with practice, improve.
Further, if your ego is healthy and you can take the 'worst' designation in stride, you may have saved someone with a more delicate self-confidence the extra burden of being the worst. So, look at it like doing a good deed :)
Finally, "A man's got to know his limitations" Clint Eastwood, Dirty Harry.
If it is a job or field of studies that you are worst at, maybe that's a sign for you to work on your strengths and accept your limitations. At a certain point, you may want to go down a different road.
Good luck with it and
Peace

It is always okay to be worst at something..
Humility is won this way and ego dashed..the winner of a race or a prize at school may enjoy accolade..but the effort to sustain position can cripple the victor..
It is always okay to be worst at something..and there is usually something we will find a natural abilty with..it is a matter of finding the same granted..but it is more important than anything else to enjoy what we do..and no shame at all in being worst.

I certainly think so. If I'm playing darts with a group of people, and I'm the worst player, who cares? In fact, sometimes it's good to be the worst at something - it's better to be the worst bank-robber than the best, for example, because an an inept thief does less damage.

Sure. I understand your question. It's ok to be a poor performer at something when it will cost you little (prestige, power, other's valuation of you) and the price you pay for mediocrity is of minimal consequence. You may be a poor golf player and still be liked by your friends if you are generally good to hang with. You may be the last (and worst)one to finish the race, but you did it for your own reward (internal reward and no one was essentially "watching"). You may be the worst at something when humor is involved and it wasn't really important anyway.
You may not be worst at something that carries a lot of weight. You may be however, temporarily worst at something you're trying to figure out, get better at, or eventually master. It is ok to fail. It is ok to not succeed at everything. It is not ok, however, to never succeed at anything.
You can also be worst at foul play or causing mischief or harm to yourself and others and that is definitely OK.

by worst, i guess you mean of a group, and yes, its perfectly fine to accept that you are the worst, atleast you tried whatever it was,,,,,,,, and really its ok to say you dont even want to try, remember by attempting something, you do learn, and then have knowledge to share with others, and one day you might figure out what about you made you the worst, though its not really important to do so, also always remember that just like there are many skilled, there are many who dont do so well , not just you, at whatever it is

If your just learning something its good to be the worst because you can learn from all the mistakes you've made so you will not do them again.

Being the worst is humbling and we all need to be humble sometimes. It helps us be more gracious when we are the best at something.

Worst are lying, worst at murder, worst at blowing things up by accident, worst at insulting your Nazi captors, etc.
It's always okay to be worst at something.
