I'll probably be hated for this, but I consider myself as unique and gifted, and my impression is that almost all women initially consider me as some kind of industrial super-dork with weird tastes, and only gradually begin to acknowledge that I'm not some pretentious oddball, but a guy who really can do certain things many can't.
Honestly, I think women are just as much seekers of a conventional ideal and shallow judges as men tend to be.

Unique and gifted in what way? Yes, I think most men and women can "spot" someone (male or female) who has uniqueness and ability. Sometimes it just takes getting to know that person. Other times, it's just obvious. It really depends on what you're talking about and the individuals involved. (This question is somewhat vague.)

Yeah they can.

Whether they actually want to hook up with it and deal with all it entails is another matter. Women looking for a breeding partner often fear the mercurial aspect of the unique, it leads to uncertainty, which is an anathema to a women in nest building mode.

Many women who have bred with the easy option are more than ready for the unique and gifted as soon as the kids are some way along. (the ones with any brains anyway)

Sorry, but you cannot be 'very' unique.

'Unique' ~ is or it aint.

As for 'gifted.' If someone from the darkest reaches on Earth presented you with a severed head as a a gift, would his / her 'skill' be seen as such? and would the 'gift' valued as such too?

Go on, tell us what it is you really want to ask here!

it's not natural to be attracted initially to giftedness, as women are attracted to masculinity or boyish good looks and charm first. Just as men are attracted to feminine qualities. Used to be a man's job was hunting, and protecting. That's what women see first. You Tarzan me Jane.

For a long term commitment, the masculine Tarzan is not ideal, and then your unique giftedness in making money will win out.

Unique and gifted in what? In order to answer your question, it has to be placed in some context.

You women say you like quiet talented guys but you dont really

you prefer someone dumber than yourself, and you certainly prefer the notion of the conventional as stated in the above

(I know these things)

None that I have ever met.

They can spot a goofy/silly guy who just wants to have sex with them, though.
