We should have never gone there in the first place, but now that we have, we need to admit that there were no WMD and leave peacefully.

Why are we in the middle of a religious war that has been going on since the beginning of their existence? Does the Bush administration really think that he's capable of ruling the world or what?

It's time to bring our soldiers home and stop wasting America's money on a country we never belonged in. If Bush thinks it's important to help them, then we should do it at a distance without sacrificing more American lives.

Republicans say STAY to win

Democrats will say we've already lost.

I personally think we are making some progress w/ our military, but still need to work on political issues w/ the Iraqi people. Give it another 1-2 years and see what progress we make politically, and if there isnt much getting done, I say try to make a peaceful exit.

Unless we kill everyone in Iraq, there is no winning. Anyway I thought it was about Iraq winning, not us? There is no peaceful solution, we are going to have to fight our way out and when we do Iraq will be one giant power struggle to see who the next tyrant will be.

The US cannot "win" in Iraq -- we're not one of the sides in the conflict.

It's like asking if a referee should stay in and try to 'win' -- it's a meaningless question.

Iraq is engaged in a civil war -- we're not one of the sides.

The problem no one knows what "win" looks like. Since we don't know what the goal looks like, how can we hope to achieve it?

We MUST remain in Iraq until we can safely back down. Even after backing down, we will remain there in one form or another.
Withdrawal will just reverse every effort made and make every soldier who lost their life protecting the world, feel meaningless.

Notice how all the liberals gave me a thumbs down because they have no clue why our soldiers are in Iraq.
