Hey. I'm a 14 year old tomboy. This year our school is having a dance called the "snowball". It is where all the highschoolers go to dance togeher. It is dressy, almost like prom. But, I have a problem. I am a tomboy, what do i wear? Thanks for you help!

Is "tomboy" an alternate sexuality codeword these days? Because I'm not sure why the angst. You wear what all the other girls are wearing - a formal dress. If you have no experience with dresses or formal attire you take along a trusted friend and older (adult) third voter to help with the big decision.
If there are other "hidden" issues - then you can announce yourself with your choice of formal wear, or go with the flow until you are ready to be public (if ever) with your lifestyle choices. Looking back at high school, I now realize that all the gay guys took the lesbian gals to the prom. Everyone had a good time, and very few were wise at the the time.
What's most important is that you be comfortable. That means wearing the dress that you feel easiest in. You probably want to stay away from the strapless/pouffy/peek-a-boo/or thigh-high slitted type of dress. But there are plenty of other great looking dresses that are not on any sexuality edge.

Even a tomboy can find a nice cute dress that they like. I'm not sure. I'm way too girly to give u ideas. But go to the mall with ur friends or ur mom if u feel weird. And look for a dress that u love. It might be hard. But who said u even have to go? But still I'm sure you want to go. I hope I helped. Sorry, I can't help more. Maybe white flats? And a light blue stagetti strap dress or sleeveless dress? Maybe a little glitter on ur face, and ur hair up in a curly ponytail

Who cares if you're a tomboy? Go dress shopping and find one you like! I'm sure even a tomboy can find a dress and just think about it - you only have to wear it for one night!

well if youre a tomboy maybe you can wear a cute long skirt with a cute top and some flats. put a little make up on and some lip gloss. and youre good

If you're not into wearing a dress you could always wear a tux. They do make them for women.

I like young girls in jeans. It makes them look more city like and it doesn't look like they try too much but if you're looking to get this men attention, this might not be what you would like

I do enjoy using long skirts once in a while. They may be actually more comfortable than Jeans and not as hot to wear also.

ok um if u don't feel comfortable wearing a dress then don't go. otherwise u should wear a dress that is not girly although i have not seen that before........

try like a black dress with ur hair down or just wear jeans and a shirt or like one of those long shirts/dresses with leggings
