Well Rana, you are coming to my district and my street. You should have asked for permission first... Just kidding you are welcome of course.

From the beginning of Abbas El Akkad Street (Intersection with Al Nasr Road), I would recommend the CTA No. 362 going to GIZA. You can take it from the Bus Stop in front of Salmeen (Salmeen is a shoe store) you can't miss it, its just accross the street from the Workers University.

If you take a taxi the fare should be something around 20LE. But I think the CTA is still much better, its cleaner and airconditioned. I would definitely go for it.

Any way If you still have problems just send any kid to call me. I'll be around. And don't listen to those guys telling you to take a microbus... It doesn't go to Manial any way, Akhro El Sayeda Aesha.

Cheers

Edit to Hope: Well you are a colleague then in the daily suffering to find a parking place ;-) Any way... Madinet Nasr menaouara bnas'ha.

Sorry I have just seen your question now.

I don't recommend CTA it's not easy now all and it's weak Air condition is not effective now.

Either a taxi direct to Manyal which may cost between 15 and 20 Pounds I did it once with 15 pounds but I'm not sure it can be done with the same price again.

Or the other option is a taxi to the Metro station [Saraya El Qoba] [costs about 5 pounds] and take the Metro in the direction [Helwan] till station [El Malek El Saleh] then you can walk a little to be in Manyal.

Send me for any details.

Edit : In case you want the CTA, one of them which goes to Manyal [362] you have to get down before [Giza Bridge]

Hello ya Rana,

The quickest way is by taxi, u will pay around LE 20, if u want more comfort then book a cab today from any of these numbers , 19155 or 19730, 16516. It will be an extra 3 or 4 pounds but the cab will be air conditioned and no hassle with a taxi driver who charges me LE 30 but charges my husband LE 20 for the same trip to Dokki.

Anyway I am sooooooo jealous off course u know why :(....

@ msafwat, we r neighbors.......

asslam 3alikom,

first belslama isa i asked brother in law, said taxi will take at least 20 le.better to take a micro(not recommended for girls)said:terkaby el ta7reer zn fe maw2af terkaby el kornesh.bas bahdala

my friend in cairo said a cta is better but the air conndition is not working and too slow.

i think a metro will be a better solution, but i dunno the station.
