The code of conduct can pretty much account for anything you do. For example, I am not allowed to back date anything. Say I forget to sign something I did yesterday, I am not allowed to sign and date it with yesterday's date. If I do I am breaking the code of conduct. It also includes more serious things, such as if I came to work drunk. I wold also violate the code of conduct.

There's no such thing as a "brief example".

A code of conduct is a list of rules and behaviors, what is required and what is prohibited, as well as what is expected. it could be just a few pages long, or hundreds of pages long.

I suggest you look at Wal-Mart. Just google them. Their code of conduct is published online for everyone to see.
