I've been on the pill for just about 2 months now i missed the pill yesterday so when i got the chance i Doubled up since i missed 1. i'm only on the 2nd week of the new pack and i'm starting to spot but it doesn't look like period blood it looks different i've been getting sharp pains in my stomach. i'm not sure why i am bleeding and its king of scaring me. i wonder if i could be pregnant or something else i also had a biopsy done on the 23 they said i would only bleed for 2 days as my Cervix healed and thats what happened and out of know where yesterday i was spotting but it would only show when i went to the bath room and now to day it is still bleeding and i don't know what to think.

I would make an apt. with your doc. & get checked-out, it sounds more like the bleeding could be from your biopsy rather than missing a BC pill. Also, that you're getting sharp pains could be something else, perhaps there is an infection brewing...

I would say that it has something to do with the surgery that you had. Also the skipping of your pill could affect your period and cause spotting. If it doesn't go away in a few days I would make an appointment with your gyno. Be very careful when taking your birth control pill. They need to be taken at the exact same time everyday. Set an alarm on your cell phone if you have problems remembering. Keep them by your toothbrush if you take them in the morning or right before bed.
