That's a great fun, My lady!

Sometimes, I have asked questions meant to convey something to or elicit something from one person only / a group (some in my contacts).

While framing questions, we are particular to know someone's mind, reaction, response or if not one, those of a few of our contacts.

But the Joke is all the others rush in with answers & the concerned person (s) is bz turning the other side or inspecting the ceiling for leakage!

We feel like shouting into their ears!

It's all part of the Game, Baby!

Why do you make private matters public? To attract VNs to others for this too?

I do it regularly but I do it as a statement. I teach and rather than make a remark to a specific student which might embarrass that person, I make a "general comment" to the file cabinet at the back of the room. That way, the point gets across to the guilty party and it is understood that there will be no discussion on the topic. An example of such a comment would be to inform the file cabinet that if it does not stop text messaging, it will have to stay for detention. The "file cabinet" always obeys and we can continue.

Once uon a time, I did that here for a friend who really needed my help. I did not care if I got reported and I would do it again. This person was almost deleted and I could not allow that.

Once or twice I have done - answers too, because I know that some of us follow each other around answering the same questions.
