It says that America, just like any other country, has it's share of freaks.

I don't care if someone is gay - but soliciting sex in a public bathroom is just NASTY.

Nothing about America, rather the sorry state of an individuals so-called life and his so-called party, Republicans appear to be "coming out" as some of THE WORST hypocrites in recent times, feel free to challenge this assertion with facts, oh yeah FOX News and Oxy-Rush do not count as sources of facts.

It says more about the Senator than America.

There are scores of Americans that would not even think of engaging in vile, lewd behavior like that.

He is a sicko
But what says a lot more is the fact he thought he could hide it and deny it.

He could do like the left coast a nd go to a high dollar rehab and say he found God or do many other things except face up to his truth.

He is a walking , talking lie/

Not about America, but about those simpletons and idiots who voted that Senator into power because he was cunning enough to fool them to see him as a sweet, old Christian man!

as a top contributor, id think you could come up with a better question than just pigeonholing the whole country for one freaks indescretion

Poor man and his "misconstrued" actions. Looks like he hasn't strayed far since graduating from the University of Idaho where he served as Student Body President. ;=)

we live in a dysfunctional society, we should blame ourselves for our lack of public honesty and openness ... it forces people like this to hide and make poor choices

let's look at ourselves before we start pointing fingers ... on one hand we embrace sexuality, and flaunt it on TV and in movies ... on the other hand we objectify and make fun of certain types of sexuality, and we alienate those people and create 'closet' sexuality.

... and (collectively) just HOW immature are we? ... how well do you think a gay republican would do at the polls

from what I understand many people still feel homosexuality is a moral deficiency, or means they have a mental problem ... and its really surprising to me that we have only come this far into awareness as a group ... all I can say is; Christians, if you want to sleep at night, don't go to college and take psychology 101

I'd also like to coment on how easy it is for many of you to 'Gay Bash' on Y!A ... if it was race or gender you would get slammed!!!

About America, nothing. About the so-called "family values" of the Republicans--since this is the I-don't-know-how-many-now time this has hapened recently, a great deal. None of it fit for polite company.
