I personally think if they are in college then why not? They are simply bettering themselves. I ask this question simply because one of my children's friends is in college and they refuse to help her. She was told she would have to quit college and find a job. What are your opinions on this?

I say get them in college them get them their education and get them out working and paying taxes. More than make up difference in what we'd spend keeping them on welfare.
They win: Get job with good future
We win: they get off welfare and start paying taxes.
We win again because they will pay a lot more taxes than they'd make on welfare. so we double win and they double win.
I'm all for it.

In some places it is required for you to be in college in order to get certain welfare benefits. Like TANF will assist single moms for up to 5 years as long as they are working towards their education or job training.

Honestly I don't think that they should support them, I think that they should have some type of assistance program, but no not welfare.....I worked 2 jobs and went to college full time, but I didn't have kids.....There are a lot of people out there having to support kids, go to school, and work........Just my opinion....
