Undefined slope indicates that it is a vertical line with same x coordinate throughout. Slope of the line is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1). since x1 and x2 are same, x2 - x1 =0, since denominator is zero , its slope is undefined
so the equation is x = - 8,
where - 8 is x-intercept

if a line has an undefined slope, then it is a vertical line. if a vertical line passes through the point (-8,0), then that line must be y = -8

y-0/x+8=c
y=cx+8c c is the undefined slope

the equation is x= -8

when you have an undefined slope you take your x coordinate and just say x=coordinate

y = mx +b
y = mx
y = 0

it is a horizontal line that passes the origin
that passes also x = -8

you fool some wise guy . . . . not me
hehehe
