So don't learn classical music! Learn jazz or modern music, there's loads of it about.
I'd say you'd get on well with both instruments - drums shouldn't be too hard if you're already used to moving at least both hands independently (which is pretty hard to do), but equally playing a tonal instrument like the guitar shouldn't be too hard either if you've played an instrument before.
Personally I'd go for guitar, mostly cause it's cheaper - and your neighbours/parents won't hate you after about 2 1/2 hours.
Plus there's less jokes about guitarists.

How long it takes to learn guitar depends on how good you want to get and how much practice you put in. How good you can get with 1-2 hours a day for a few months depends on what methods you use to practice. There are effective practice methods that will help you make the best use of your time. This course is one of the best. https://bitly.im/aMDoD It's not just about how much you play but how effectively you play that will determine how good you will get.

It depends my brother and I have been playing for 45 years. He's a drummer and I'm a lead guitarist. I like the electric guitar because of the different sounds that I can get.
