I have one but don't think I will be going far away in the near future. I'm thinking good idea to stay close to home. Needed a good hospital earlier this year.

I always have a valid passport. Even if you aren't planning
to go out of the country, they are good for ID at airports and
train stations. When it expires, I get a new one.

I had a passport, but it is expired. I don't think I will be needing a new one for awhile, I love this country, it is beautiful in every part of it. There are so many things to see. I love the natural beauty of the land, from the ocean shore to the mountain tops, the deserts, the lakes, the forests. This country is breathtaking in every region..

Yes, got one about 6 years ago for travel...which I never did! But, still have the passport...judging by the wait today, glad all I have to do is get it renewed when it comes time.

I just got my passport renewed. I'm going to Germany in December. By the way, it only took about 4 weeks for the renewal.

I've never had a passport, nor do I think I'll ever get one. There's still so many places in the U.S.A. I've never seen, so I think I'll spend my money at home rather than in some other country.

I, too, have one, although it's expired. I'll renew it though pretty soon.

Had to have it when I lived overseas. It served me well then and a new one will do that same thing. Probably better, at least I'll be able to get back into the country when traveling!

I have a passport but I don't plan on going anywhere outside the US boundaries where I'd need one.

Yes I have one. I've used it to go to southern Mexico, and as of 2008 we'll need it to go into Canada, which is either a days drive or a five hour ferry ride for me

NO, and NO. And I don't think I will be needing on in the future.
If I do any traveling it would probably be within the states, ormaybe Ruerto Rico or the Virgin Islands

Yes, but only used it the one time I visited my son and his family in Germany. As long as they're stationed over in Europe, I plan to keep it current and active, in case I ever need to get over there quickly.
