I'm not sure how old he is but hes a baby and I've had him for about a month. Well hes been acting kinda funny latley like when i took him out of his cage today he lifted all of his legs in the air and his tail and wiggled them in circles. And im not sure if hes just getting excited but when im about to feed him his crickets his whole body shakes. And when he gets done eating he opens his mouth and sucks his tummy in. Im not sure why he eats about a dozen and a half crickets a day and some greens. Oh and sometimes hes very playful so its not all the time he acts like this, but do you know why he does those things?

Thx!!

aww he's a cute little guy!!

the arm-waving thing is his way of letting you know that you are his master: you are more dominant than him. as for the tail thing; maybe he is happy.

if he is opening his mouth and sucking in his tummy after he eats, he might be trying to regurgitate something. of course i can't give a great opinion, since i haven't seen him doing this, but that would be my first guess. make sure he isnt eating any sand in his tank; this could cause impaction. dont feed him crickets bigger than the space between his eyes; this causes impaction as well.
just to be safe, have a reptile vet check over him. it might be normal, but you dont want to take any risks.

He's very cute! Baby beardies will arm wave when they are being submissive, so maybe he was a little fearful. What is his setup like? Hopefully no loose substrate, a good heat lamp with a temp of 105 at the basking point, a UVB bulb within 12 inches. Also, a baby his age should be eating a LOT more crickets than that. They eat 50-100 a day! Make sure the crickets are no longer than the space between his eyes. Also, are you feeding the crickets a good gutload food? Don't forget about vitamins as well. I'm glad to see you are bathing him--very important especially with babies. Here are a couple of excellent websites, and Yahoo has a message forum called Pogona--it's a great place to ask questions and get good reliable info.

So cute! I'm not sure about the shaking, but sometimes when my lizard poops, she'll lift the lower half of her body and wiggle her legs a bit. But when in doubt, call the vet.

No sure what your idea of him acting funny is. However seems pretty normal to me. Looks like a healthy lizard too. Nice pick. Looks like a Juvy. So he has some growing up to do.

Wiggling his body is just his way of telling you that he isnt comfortable with the way you are holding him and he wants to have his feet and belly on a solid surface please.
Opening his mouth may be a sign that he ate too much too fast. I have seen my beardies do this and it is usualy the case.
