There useful when you need to get something out of the drain, or have locked your keys in the car, but for clothes, no i prefer wooden, but i use plastic because they are cheaper

I don't use them for clothing but I remember my Mom making a butterfly net out with them attached to a broom handle with some netting....

I throw them out. You have to get rid of them. You put them in a closet and they multiply as soon as you shut the door!!
