You can use a title of a song. Titles cannot be copyrighted. However you CANNOT use lyrics. Lyrics are copyrighted. To use lyrics, you have to contact ASCAP or BMI - whichever the songwriter belongs to - and pay a very hefty licensing fee -- assuming they will even give it to you. You can also use song titles in your manuscript but not lyrics without licensing. Pax - C.

You can use the title of a song as the title of a novel or a few words from the lyrics of a song, yes

You cannot use the entire song.

Let me mention you can use lyrics if they are generic enough and exist in other context then the song. Most song lyrics do.

Mary Higgins Clark uses song's all the time for her novel titles. So, yes you can.

If it is a title, I think you can use it with no problem.

At worst, if it is copyrighted, you might have to obtain permission from the publisher.
