I am studying for trig because I am taking it my sophomore year.(next week classes start) But I only know some of it.
Okay, so I know that whole Soh-Cah-Toa rule.
But how do I find the sin, tan, and cos? It says to input the angle like sin(angle) but when I do, the answer doesn't come out correctly. Then is says that sin= o/h, but what if the angle doesn't have lengths?
For ex. these worksheet problems:

First make sure you are set to degrees and not to radians. Press the MODE button and select degrees and press ENTER.

Now to find tan 7 degrees, press TAN then 7 then ) and then ENTER. You should get .1227845609. That's all there is to it.

When using your calculator, make sure you are in degree mode rather than radians mode. Also, remember that the sin, cos, and tan are just ratios of the lengths of the sides. You don't need to know them if you already have the angle.
