I took a digital hpt yesterday and it turned out positive (We're excited) then today I took another one (2 in a pack) and it came out neg. (we're confused) I think I will buy another hpt? I have all the classic symptoms including minor headaches but have 3 more days til a missed period. Anyone ever have this problem? A positive result THEN a negative??

Get another test--not digital, and try again.

It could have been 1) the urine you used today wasn't as concentrated as yesterday's 2) the test could have been defective. I would skip taking another test and make an appt with your doctor for a blood test. Good luck and congrats!

You may have had less "concentrated" pee. It happens. If you are unsure take a different kind of nondigital test tomorrow with first morning urine. Congratulations, though, a positive is a positive. Good luck!

its rare to get a fals positive i would wait a week n take another one i wouldnt go with the digital either way to expensive and they do the same thing a test strip will do or get a blood test threw ur doc....good luck

did you do it at a differnt time of day? because it is so early you should test with the first morning urine.
