of course you can.
there are a few gay conservative groups. one is called the Log cabin Republicans. In fact there is believed to be anywhere from 20-35% of gay men who are registered republican or consider them selves "Conservative".
Only the extremist and the ignorant make assumptions that if you are one thing you cant be another, that's why people act like there is no way some one who is gay could possible conservative. or that some one who is Conservative could vote for something like gay rights.
I know a few Gay men and women wo are conservative, and I my self being a life long republican have voted in favor of gay marriage.
I am glad a 14 year old is willing to ask questions, you should. Don't tie your self down with sterotypes and the notion that every thing is cut and dry, it never is. And dont let the rude people get you down, politics tend to bring out the worst in people.
Best of luck

Depends on what faction of the Republican party one adheres to. The old-fashioned Republican is "keep government out of private life", first and foremost. That also means "cut government programs", of course. So, a proper, old-fashioned Republican believes that government has no business dictating personal sexual morality. However, the party has been dominated by an unholy alliance of plutocrats and theocrats for more than 20 years. So the dominant Republican faction would probably outright ban homosexuality, altogether, by law.

There is a group called The Log Cabin Republicans, that are gay and are members of the GOP. You do not choose to be gay, gay chooses you, why in the world would anyone choose to be a citizen that had to hid their sexually, or have to put up with all the crap that goes with being openly gay

Can you have a brain and be stupid, too?
Most people think that gays are democrats because it's the democrats that make the most promises (never kept, always broken) to the homosexual lobby to adopt their agenda.
Not that republicans have a better record of keeping promises. Both parties say one thing and do another.

Yes, a person's sexual orientation and his or her political affiliation are two completely separate things, though at times one may influence the other (gays may be more likely to be liberal, a conservative may be more likely to stay in the closest and convince himself he is straight). As a side note though, not all Republicans (gay or straight) view homosexuality as an "abomination."

Of course. There are many Republican values (regrettably, not always maintained by Republican candidates) that anyone can relate to.
