you have it set as a default to log on when you turn on your computer or when you open the messenger. search through "options" or something like that... (i use trillian so i can't give you specfic instructions, sorry.)

Sign out yo messenger, then untick the 'Remember me', 'Remember my password' and 'Sign me in Automatically'. After that, now sign in.
Next time u switch on the PC and would want to open messenger, it will ask you to put your id and password.
This will work.

becus it was set taht way !! all u have to do is next time when it's logged in log out and right click on the messneger icon and click sign in and when u do uncheck all the boxes the remember me and remember my password and the sign me in automatically and click sign in after next time won't log in by itself
