i have a huge banana tree. i believe its called an abbysisian banana tree but I am not sure. basically there's this huge red flower coming out of it and its beautiful, however it drips sap on the concrete. And i clean it up almost everyday to find out the next morning theres more on the floor. if i were to chop it off would my banana tree die? please help. and bees are loving the flower too. what should i do about that too?

That is the flower that will end up producing the entire bunch of bananas if allowed to continue it growth and if insects are allowed to fertilize the flower.
The banana is a very unique and unusual plant.
Be patient and watch it do its thing. It is fascinating.
If everything works out naturally, you will enjoy the show.
If your tree is not well rooted to firm soil, it may be a good idea to support it. The punch of bananas that it produces can be heavy enough to topple the tree.
Be aware that all the fruit tends to ripen at the same time, so if it is a tree that produces edible fruit, be ready to share it with others.
P.S. The sap will stain, so don't get it on your clothes.
There is NOTHING that can remove that stain from cloth.

The flowers are banana buds. These will grow into banana fruits. If you want to cut the flowers off, it would not kill your plant; it would just produce either more leaves or flowers.
